I'm going to be working outside this summer and I expect to get dirty. I'm looking for pants that are thin/lightweight, comfortable, and cheap. I'm not concerned with style although they need to fit right. I haven't found what I'm looking for yet.
I've looked at walmart and target both 'in the flesh' and online. I've searched ebay. I can't think of any other places to look that would have cheap ($10-20 per pair before taxes & shipping) clothing. Do you know any place I can look either online or 'in the flesh' (might be helpful if it's a national chain since we don't live in the same town)?
Also, I usually buy men's pants (although I'm female) because they usually fit better and the sizes make perfect sense. Do you have a guess as to what a 38 in waist would translate to into women's pant sizes? I know there are variations with brands and styles, but ball-park, you know. I've looked it up online but the charts seem incomplete or inaccurate.

Try Old Navy...they have cheaper pants...and just look at their size charts. Also, Eddie Bauer has an online outlet that sometimes has stuff really cheap.

Not sure about the size, though, just look at the size chart for the retailer.

try old navy. they have a great line of yoga pants which will fit really well. cheap to, under 10 $. I'm not sure about sizes though. They have a website to, and five dollar shipping.
