I had to use that cartoon one for months b/c my 360 was broken. Yahoo just fixed it, so now I'm playing around.

I actually think that your personality affects your avatar. When you edit your avatar, you usually use items that fit you best. And I also belive that the mood you are in can affect your avatar. In my case, when I edit my avatar, I use things that describes what I feel in that moment.
