Hey, i just got my car lowered with tein s-tech springs with stock struts. I havent seen my car or had a chance to drive it. But should i leave my car like this, or just go ahead and get some new shocks and struts, and if so what kind. thanks

Yes you absolutely need new shocks/struts! OE struts are designed to work with OE spring rates. They will not be able to handle the new springs. That, and the fact that since the car is 10 years old the OE units are going to be pretty badly worn anyway. The average good usuable service life of a strut or shock is 50k miles. After that they are typically worn enough to show a measurable decrease in performance over new. Struts and shocks are more important to good handling than springs so this is not a place to go cheap.

I would suggest contacting Tein for their recommendations on replacements.

Whenever replacing springs, always, always, always replace the struts or shocks. They have to come out anyway and it saves you having to do it twice.
