Property values....I live along the Gulf Coast and am considering the installation of a Backup Generator ....?

that will cost about $10,000 dollars (includes installation). How much value, if any, would this give my home? and is it practical to install something like that if I would olny need it maybe once or twice a year? Thanks.

not much to be honest, just like air conditioning it can cost 5,000 on air conditioning but increase the value 1,000.

i would think about the benifits of having one verses the house value
