Somehow, I don't feel comfortable paying them money to make money on my own. Does anyone know of any scams like this? How can I be sure it's safe?

Don't pay any money to anything like this because there are free ones out there like Globaltestmarket.com if you're interested in doing surveys, or there's also CreationRewards where you can do surveys for points and then redeem your points for cash or other things, I've been a member of that one for over a year and know it works. but you can go to www.snoops.com where you can possibly find out if that one website is a scam. Hope this helps you.

Any site that makes you pay money first is a scam. Anything that comes to you in a spam is also scam.

Yes, I think so. Maybe you should go to fraud scam listing in google. I usually go to google if I'm in doubt.
