One of the reasons that we have not won is because Americans are not united in winning this War. The hatred of President Bush has been an important factor. Bush haters would rather see us fail than win Iraq. Because if we are successful in Iraq, they might be wrong about Bush. The mainstream media is only reporting about the bad things, because they also want us to loose in Iraq. Mistakes are made in all wars, war is ugly. If the terrisost prevail in Iraq
and we cut and run, its going to make the world alot more dangerous.

What is the definition of winning the war in Iraq anyway?

Patience. We're getting there. War is time consuming. The Iraq war is a difficult one, because of insurgents, and terrorism. This is the first real time America has fought a war to this extreme. Give our soldier's credit, and let them do their work. We are winning!

Depends on how you define "win". We succeeded in defeating the Iraqi army and changing the government. You can say that we've won the war but the peace is kicking our a$$.

No. The perfect time to have declared 'victory' and pulled out was when Saddam was arrested. But that didn't happen.
Now the US is trying to 'win' a civil war.
And that is impossible.

TECHNIQUALLY WE DID WIN THE WAR.

HOWEVER, JUST BECAUSE YOU WIN A WAR DOESN'T MEAN EVERYONE WILL ACCEPT IT, WHICH IS WHY THERE IS STILL A LOT OF RESISTENCE AND SUICIDE BOMBERS.

THE HOUSE JUST PASSED A BILL THAT WILL REQUIRE THE WITHDRAWAL OF US TROOPS BY SEPTEMBER 2008. THE PRESIDENT WANTS TO VETO THAT BILL, WHICH IS STILL IN THE PROCESS.

If you turn on your TV and watch the news, regardless of station, it is obvious we have not yet won.
