Miss is a young girl or young woman that never has been married. Mrs. is someone who is married. Ms. works well for any woman.

The answer is Ms. You are a Miss if you are single never been married, Mrs.if you are presently married. I did not change my name when I got divorced, and my ex remarried now there was Ms.XXX and a Mrs. XXX. I wonder if that happened to others? The title Ms. seemed to be connected with women's lib, older women seem to find it awkward to use, but I believe it is the correct answer.

Well you get the title Mrs. when you get married so you wouldnt have that. I think Miss is more for teenagers and children and Ms. is for adults unmarried.
