What do you think about Sri Lanka as a Cricket nation.??

i believe that sri-lanka is a very promising cricket team, we saw them win the world cup in 1996(The 1996 championship was held in the Indian subcontinent for a second time, with the inclusion of Sri Lanka as host for some of its group stage matches. In the semi-final, Sri Lanka, heading towards a crushing victory over India at Eden Gardens (Calcutta) after their hosts lost eight wickets while scoring 120 runs in pursuit of 254, were awarded victory by default after riots broke out in protest against the Indian performance.Sri Lanka went on to win their maiden championship by defeating Australia by seven wickets in the final, which was held in Lahore.) i was watching sri-lanka play south africa today, and they have alot of rising talent including malinga etc.. they are the team to watch out for in the next world cup!

Cricket is a great game of tilting fortunes but one who plays well physically and mentally wins at the end. Sri Lanka is a great cricketing nation and my team, in the ongoing world cup, is Sri Lanka. The way they out classed India in their group match was a treat to watch. My best wishes to Sri Lankan team and the nation.

I love cricket !! and Srilanka is a best team.....capable of performing miracle , they are blessed with a magician called Muralitharan !! I wish them Good luck for this world cup !
