My wife bought me a Little Giant and though she meant well (I'm not overly fond of heights) it wasn't worth the money paid for it. The wide stance adds stability but that can be found on comparable ladders. The "LG" goes 17 feet but I needed 20 feet plus. I got a Keller 22 foot ladder for about half the price of the "LG". They are a great toy, as someone called them, but there are less expensive alternatives.

Are you talking about the Little Giant pumps for ponds or fountains? If so, yes I have bought two. They work great and I have had no problems with them. Just clean them when needed.

Not sure if you are talking about the ladder or pump. The ladders are great if you have a need for such an expensive toy. They do hold a lot of weight and do lots of things but most people would not use them enough to spend over $300. The pumps are quality. We used them in a manufacturing plant I worked in.

My husband, who has been a painting contractor for over 30 years has two. He says they are the best, most versatile ladder that he uses. The only thing they are not good for is *up high* outdoor work.

I have three "Little Giant" ;adders here at work. They range in size from 1oft to 30ft. They are great. We use the 30ft one to change the light bulbs in our gymnasium. They are great....but not cheap. The 30ft one is $900.

What's a little giant? Isn't that an oxymoron?
