Occasionally I'll sell stuff on ebay or Amazon and print out electronic postage using paypal. My question is do i have to go to the postoffice to drop off those packages or can I just drop 'em off at any street mailboxes. If so are there any weight/size limitations. Kind of a hassle driving to the postoffice all the time.

What I meant are the standard blue mailboxes you see on some street corners not other people's mailboxes. For a picture of what I'm talking about click on link below

No.But sometimes you can find places that take UPS or other companies packages and have them send it for you.

It is a federal offense to do that if it is not a public mailbox. I also sell alot on Ebay, I bring them to work with me and put them in our mailbox at work. I just don't wnat you to drop one off in the wrong place and have the owner of the box report you, so unless it is a public mailbox you could be facing criminal charges.

If you pay for the postage at the time you print it out, you can drop it in any mailbox.

It's just like putting a stamp on it.
