That is a tough one. It depends on a lot of different factors. If the situation is family doesn't like your choice of partner because they feel that the person is not right for you, examine why they feel this way. Sometimes we become blinded by "love" and don't pay attention to the signs that this person is not the one we should be with. Family is very important, and you can't always be sure that this "love" will last forever. Just be sure of whatever choice you make it is one you are ready to live with. Hopefully you can work the situation out where you don't have to make a choice.

When I was 16 I chose a 19 yr. old boy. He dumped me.
Now I know I will chose love if he is already my husband.
When I was young, I should have chosen my family, nothing has been the same with them since.

I have already had to choose. My mother decided a while ago that she doesnt want anything more to do with me, partly because of my husband, and partly because I told her that I dont want to have anything more to do with my stepfather. NB my stepfather is physically and mentally abusive, and has been for the whole time I lived at home with them. My mother knew this, but has recently denied it, saying I was making it up. I chose my husband over them, because I don't trust my mother anymore. Also because last year I had to have an emergency operation while at uni, my husband drove 400 miles to stay in hospital with me the whlole time, but once I was back at his house my mother could not even drive the 10 miles to check I was ok. Easy choice really.

Depends on how well my love fits in with my family. Generally it is family first.

I would rather have my current family (parents, brother, etc.) than a new one. The last labels I want to wear are wife and mother.

If you mean spousal love, then love. Family cannot meet the needs that a spouse can.

forced to make a choice.....family will never leave you or betray you....there for you "NO MATTER WHAT"....think carefully about the "love" your considering....must be some reason you can't have both.....maybe family sees something your not....pay particular attention if everyone is telling you something you don't want to hear.....not everybody can be wrong!
