Sleep w/your mouth closed should do the trick...

Funny, I just had the same thing happen to me... Since she snores just as loudly I plan on recording her next time she keeps me up :)

As for your question, there are a couple of things you can do. First, and probably cheapest, is to try using nasal strips that open up your nasal passageways that will make it easier to breathe at night and may stop your snoring. You can find these at any pharmacy section at a grocery store and it will cost you under ten dollars.

Another low cost solution is to have her listen to headphones or something. This may be difficult because not everyone can fall asleep.

What I do is I wait for my girlfriend to fall asleep before I do and make sure that she is asleep before I fall into blissful slumber. This has been working.

Other more expensive methods (like a snoring mask or possibly surgery) are available if the problem becomes too great. See a doctor before engaging in anything that will cost you too much. Good luck.

LOL, the mumbling thing is so cute! n_n yeah, my girlfriend snores, it's when she falls asleep in a certain position, it's really loud, but doesn't last long, an then she rolls over. She in convinced I'm lying to her that her snoring is not that bad, and she is very self conscience about it. I told her her snoring is cute (what can I say when she asks me that?) an she doesn't snore that much anyways so it's a'kay. I talk in my sleep too, and wrestle with the blankets *Sweat* an say I'm thirsty, an I sleepwalk, an drool, no snoring though LOL.

My brother and his wife were having the same problem. He snored so loudly that they had to start sleeping in different bedrooms! He finally went to the doctor and they did a sleep test on him in the hospital. It ended up that he has a serious case of sleep apnea where he quits breathing while he's sleeping! They gave him this oxygen machine for him to use while he sleeps. He says that this helped the snoring but he can't stand sleeping with a mask on his face so he don't use it. You should tell your doctor that you would like a sleep study done on you because you are concerned with the possibility of having sleep apnea...

hA HA! love your girlfriend! I have recorded my husband too, and then next day put it like a great CD while having breakfast. Not only he snores, he pushes the bed and jumps like acropats!

Best thing is find another room to have a great sleep. When it comes to cuddling, cuddle like normal. I can't believe anything has helped my loud and proud snoring husband!

Yes, go to the doctor and request a sleep study. You will spend the night at the hospital so they can evaluate your snoring to see if it is a medical problem. I need to do it too, My wife says I snore loudly....She recorded me too.
