What does it feel like when the baby drops. I have been carrying low my whole pregnancy and I feel lots of pressure and achiness low in the pelvis and into my legs?? Do you think he is dropped already, I will be 32 weeks on Saturday. I have also been experiencing lots of cramping, but I saw my doc last week and she said my cervix is still high and hard, so should I just realx or call the doc??

Your not having your baby early hun...your baby is just getting into position. His head is engaging into your pelvic which is why your having alot of pressure and achiness, you should be noticing as well that your breathing has or will become easier in the next few weeks you may also notice the urge to pee more often.

Good Luck and Congrats!

hello, im 38 weeks and 2 days. i felt like you did all the time , and the last check up i went to i was still 1 cm , the babys heads in position but the dr said it could be any day....or over my due date 4/9/07. so just hang in there unless you start getting some blood in your discharge , itching, fluid loss, or major cramping every 5-10 mins. i hope all goes well for you...because you want that baby to stay in there till at least 37 weeks!!
take care

Does it feel like sometimes when you stand up or something, like everything inside of you just all of a sudden just drops down? Cause I feel that way sometimes, I asked my doctor about it and she said that its just pressure....Its funny how we are experiencing the same thing! So I guess we are okay! Although, I would like to have my baby sooner than 40 weeks! 36 would be nice... hehe

just relax. i know you don't wanna hear this (i know i didn't) but its probably just your body stretching from the baby being so low. your cervix needs to go a long way before baby comes. needs to be low (the doc needs to be able to feel the babies head when he checks ya) and needs to soften and thin out. your body is trying to do its job so that baby can come when you feel crampyness. try doing some stretching exercises it may releive some pressure. woohoo for you 8 weeks left!!

when in doubt call the doctor. I was 33 weeks with my second when I started feeling that way called my doc went in and I was a centimeter dilated and 50% effaced. I would always call when something changes or just doesn't feel right.

Call the Dr.....when the baby drops it feels like someone is sitting on your bladder and you have to pee alot more...like in the beginning.....

Everything is probably fine, but I would tell your dr that you are having pressure and cramping...and ask to be checked......that way, when you are checked and know that everything is fine, then you will actually be able to relax.

Good luck....

It could just be Braxton Hicks... I would just take it easy and when you are feeling these symptoms... sit down and put your feet up for a few and see if it helps. Your body is just preparing itself for the upcoming event. If for some reason it becomes very painful or you have lots of bleeing, most definitly call the doctor.

Sounds like your body is just getting ready to go thru all the work of delivery.. Call your doctor and let them know what you are feeling if you are worried.. Other then that just try to relax. Your baby will be here soon enough... Congratulations....

I am a big believer that when you don't feel right in a pregnancy to always call your dr.s nurse and let her know whats going on. She in turn will talk with your dr. and get back with you. Good luck. I hope everthing works out for you.
