It's sad reading all the answers & all the difficulties people have saying "I love you" to their own families - but it's the same for me - I rarely even speak to my mom, more or less tell her I love her because I don't "feel" it. so sad. what's the matter with all of us? I do however tell my husband & kids all the time & 2 of my best friends, we've all been through enough to know it may be the last chance we get. The last night I ever spoke to my oldest son, I told him, "I love you" and he said it back & then went off to work, then crashed his car on the way home - he's gone off to heaven. I'm sure glad I told him. We don't always know just how temporary this life is. :)

From most difficult to easiest:

Stranger, Boss, Lover, Friend, Sister/Brother, and the last 3 (Parent, Children, Spouse) tie together

Off your list definately boss or stranger (although alot of my employees tell me that they love me)

For some people their children once they grow up if the relationship was not close. I have finally gottne my father to start saying I love you. It is a big step for him. He is a very reserved person which makes it more special when he says it.

Also I think it is hard to tell anyone the first time when you really mean it.

Boss and stranger. How could you love a stranger? And I guess you could love your boss, but unless they were a relative or s/o, u probably shouldnt be saying u love them.

Stranger, boss - everybody else knows exactly how I feel about them (me expressive me am) (by the way that was a joke for all those who would call my IQ into question, lol)

*wife/husband - not married yet, but if/when we do, i'll have no problem telling him i love him :)

* own children - not yet (hopefully not for a long time), but i'll shower them with love when they come around.

* lover - i have no problem telling him i love him.

* parent - no problem telling them i love them.

* sister/brother - no problem telling him i love him.

* friend - no problem telling all my friends i love them.

* boss - i tell her, yeah, but deep down i hate her dumb behind!

Buddha and Jesus could have been solid pals, i think of. interior the Lords prayer as Jesus taught us, ...And forgive my trespasses As I fogive people who trespass against me... Is it not of course adequate reported? If a Christian does not forgive people who trespass against them, the place then is the forgiveness? There might properly be no forgiveness for any who do not forgive. Even people who have not forgiven those in charge for 9/11 can not be forgiven. people who have not forgiven the Catholic church for all the failings they have performed interior the previous can not themselves be forgiven. people who do not forgive Bush and Clinton, and all the politicians can not themselves be forgiven. anyone whose strikes disillusioned you has trespassed against you. Forgive all of them or perpetually stay unforgiven. The lords prayer is totally clean in this element. with out forgiving first, all the prayer interior the international will avail you not; all the works in His call will mean not something - you is honestly not saved. happy holiday journeys to all.

Just my sister, and only recently. But, I am very open with my affection, and always have been. i have never found it to kmake me vulnerable...but others who hear it tend to sometimes feel ackward and vulnerable. it is very powerful, and it shouldn't scare anyone.
