Unfortunately, the government paying for plastic surgery would end up being at the bottom of their important things to do list. There are way too many other issues above the issue of "fugliness", like the war in Iraq, global warming, gas prices, immigration, preparing for natural disasters (like Katrina), and the list goes on. Plastic surgery will just have to wait until after a few generations of paying off the debt of the war in Iraq.=)

absolutely the government should pay...it's a medical risk. Why should all we normal looking people lose our lunches everytime we see a fugly person...You should start a charity to help these unfortunate people out!

They shouldn't be rewarded for letting themselves go... How about they start giving the beautiful ones a free paycheck..I'm fine with that and it might motivate the uglies.

If it's a medical condition that makes them that way, and they have no insurance, then, why not. But if it's just superficial, no, I don't want my tax dollars going to that.

I don't think they should and there is no such thing as an ugly person. God doesn't make ugly creations. Looks ain't everything anyway.
