I have seen him play a few games in limited time. He looks like he might have potential but is playing behind players who are better groomed at this point. Might he get better starting next year after Hibbert and Green leave?

of course he does, not so much as a scorer.
But a rebounder and most importantly a defender.

"he is hi sfathers son so yes" -Yanihole

He is his father's son ? What the hell ? Have you thought one second before typing that ? Anyways, having a pro basketball legend as a father probably helps with the fundamentals, but Ewing Jr. is 6'8"... there's lots and lots of 6'8" players, so I don't think he would do good in the NBA. If he was 7', I'd say he would have been drafted in the 1st round, just because of his pedigree, but at his size... forget it.

I think the Knicks should draft him even if he only plays one game and scores one basket so the announcer at the Garden can yell "Patrick Ewing" one more time.

If he gets drafted it will be just because of his name. He is a decent college player, but I don't see him making it in the NBA.
