Georgetown and Ohio state actullay match up very well. I think Oden and Hibbert will be a great matchup. I don't agree with gerogetownn being a poor man's Ohio state, that i can not agree with. I do believe that ohio has an edge in terms of starters, but georgetwon's bench as by far way better than Ohio state. Yes Green is the best ALL-ROUND player on the court.

I agree with "Whitesox". Our Buckeyes have scored 145 points in the last 60 minutes. That is an average of 48 points per half, for the last 3 halves of basketball.
In fact, in the last 10 minutes of their 4 games this tournament, on average they are outscoring their opponents by a count of 25 - 17.
So, even if someone stops Oden, Ohio State still has alot of weapons. Plus, Georgetown is a low-scoring team. They just might not have the firepower to beat the Buckeyes. They would have to play a flawless game to win, I think.

No, Ohio State has no one who can match up with Jeff Green. Jeff Green will have a huge game and Greg Oden and Roy Hibbert will neutralize each other. And Georgetown's guards are extremely underrated. Georgetown will win win 76-74.

We have a guy named Mike Conley. He is one of the best point guards in the country. The question is, is Roy Hibbert enough to hold Oden to only 20 points? Will Georgetown have an answer to Mike Conley and Ron Lewis each scoring 20+ points? Can they contain Ohio States usual second half surge and takeover? Georgetown is a poor mans version of Ohio State.
GO BUCKEYES!

Oden will be the best big man on the floor. The second best big man on the floor will be Othello Hunter. Green is the THIRD best big man in the 7 foot range. Unless Ivan Harris can cover him that Green guy, Hunter will be fine and have Oden to help out.

Yes... "IF" the refs call traveling when they should. Georgetown should not have even played UNC because the ref swallowed his whistle and didn't call an obvious travel before Green shot the winner with two seconds on the clock. Plus the refs should have called a foul when Vanderbilt shot the desperation shot at the end...
