i have 50 mL of HCl for a stomach simulation, but i need to know what the molarity of the HCl is if pH is 1.

I've always taught that it is 6M.

If the pH = 1, that is either because it is 0.1M or quite a bit more concentrated, because pH goes down as concentration rises, and then comes up again.

0.1M since pH = -log [H+]

so log[H+]= -1 [H+] =10^-1
