Generally speaking, how much in liquid assets does one typically need to start their own franchise of starbucks or similar small chain restaurant like a subway in Virginia. I realize question is quite vague but Im looking for a broad estimate. $10,000, $30,000 $100,000?

You can open a franchise now but it's in Europe you actually have to move to Europe. The Starbucks franchise is just recently available only in Europe for now.

Seriously? Ever seen a Starbucks in another store? ALL of those are franchised locations - ALL.OF.THEM. Even the ones on military bases - promise.

nope, starbucks doesnt allow you to open franchises, one of my supervisors planned on opening one, but she found out they dont let other ppl own franchises, sux cuz they make loads of money.
