I heard there is a music festival in late July early August every year in Montego Bay. Any opinions on it good or bad? Best places to stay?

Yes it is an excellent show. It is now known as Reggae SumFest and is called the "Greatest Show on Earth". It goes on for a week. Every night has a theme. There is Gospel night, Dancehall night and International Night etc. Be sure that you're prepared to stand and stay up till at least 4 am. You will get your money's worth.

Yes it is right around the third week of July to last week of July and it the greatest show and earth. Places to stay check out www.onestopmontegobay.com. My advise buy a VIP all access band, for all the show to get the full enjoyment of the shows.

yes its called reggae sunfest and i hope i get to go there this year again but they play dancehall music onenight basically they switch up the genre of music everynight and they teach u the latest jamaican dance and they always have a RnB artist from america perform there. its pretty cool. you can sttay by anear hotel or u can rent a condo or a hut.
