Yes & No. If the degree of maturity is same in both the parties then age will not make any difference but if the degree of maturity is vast different then its age which makes this difference hence there will be difficulty in coping/understanding with each other in any such relationship.

Depends on the age.. i mean if she is 15 and he 22 then yes it really matters. But i know many people in their 30's 40's 50's and 60's how are years apart.. I think the biggest is 11 years.. after all someone needs to be older

Between 18- and 24 age does matter because you are maturing and growing. After 25 I think at least 8-9 years doesn't matter. After 30 up to 10 years doesn't matter.

yes it really does. the fact that males mature slower than women is a huge factor. that's why women go for older men a lot of the tI'me.
if the age difference is huge like 15-20 years older than the whole "growing up in a different time and age" thing comes into play. when a woman who is 20 dates a man who is 40 there morals, there thoughts, there wants and needs, there EVERYTHING is totally opposite.
(I'm not saying everyone is like this im just talking about people in general)

No. What matters most is you are on the same page. Asking this questions indicates you have a problem here. Probably more along the lines of maturity. Take a look at that rather how many years one has lived on this planet.

Age really doesn't matter but if your young, it does matter just because you're still growing up and you might have that immaturity still in you and you do things that you might regret in the future because of hormone changes. But once your older, age doesn't matter because you're much more mature and you know by now what's good for you and what's not. Your able to make good decisions that you probably won't regret for the rest of your life.

Personally, I think that age really does matter in a relationship. If you date someone in your age group, you know where that person is coming from and you guys have something in common. If a person dates outside of their age group, they will have to do whatever they can to make the relationship work. Everybody has a preference on whom they decide to date, but everyone has to do what's best for them as individuals.

It doesn't matter to some people, but I use the 10 year rule of thumb, ten years difference one way or the other, only had one time so far where that was an issue.

My husband and I are only two years apart but I am older than him. In our case it does and doesn't matter. We love each other and we never think of each other as older or younger but when it comes to how he acts sometimes I am reminded that his only 24 and less mature than me by a few years. But if you love them then you shouldn't let the age get in the way of wanting to be together.

well...i have kind of been wondering the same thing i am interested in this guy who is 27 and i am only 19..he is amazing but i think the age thing would bother him more then it would bother me... but i really think it depends on your age like once you get out of high school and possibly college then age doesn't matter...If you love someone and are happy then it doesn't matter the age!!!
