Or even someone you know....

Was it easier than you thought?
Did you find more clients than you expected?
Is it fun?

I'm worried about my chances of finding buyers...

I have a few good friends who use Mary Kay products regularly and love them. I'm also a student at a small community college. I work a few days a week at a tanning salon, where I consultant ladies with tan care products.

Would these be good sources?

I have been a Mary Kay Consultant for 3 years now. I honestly can say that many of us if not all, had many of the same questions you have in the beginning.

Mary Kay is only as difficult as you allow it to be. When I first started Mary Kay, I was so worried about finding women..I'm not sure where I heard this but it went like this: "How many women do you see walking around without skin?"

I am also from a small community, but you will be surprised at how easy it really is to find women. Women want to talk to you, they want to feel good about themselves.

The best people to start with are your family and friends. They will let you practice on them a thousand times if you need to. Now think about all the women that these women know. The list goes on, but the key is to think BIG. Regardless of why you have come into Mary Kay (Hobby, part time, full time) all you need to do is tell your Director what it is that you expect to get out of Mary Kay. She will help you make a plan based on that and you just get started.

Well, I wish you all the Best in your Mary Kay Journey. Please do not hesitate to contact your Director with additional questions or concerns, or even any one of us for that matter. God Bless!!

I have been with Mary Kay for 6 1/2 years and a Director for 3 1/2 of them. I am very shy and when I started I was a full-time paralegal, a part time student and was still able to earn my first car and become a Director. Mary Kay has been around for a long time so pretty much sells itself. I have gotten to this point without having to push people to try or buy the products.

I think the tanning salon and also the gilrs in your classes would be a great way to get started.

Please email if you have any other questions.

I am a consultant with Mary Kay and I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you have (message me). I work a full time job and Mary Kay is my fun time to make a little extra cash here and there.

If you like the products I'd definetely recommend it. I think being a college student would give you easy connections to new people.

I just came back from a Mary Kay Career conference and I watched a 91 year old women go across the stage debut as a sales director. We ( including myself I waited a year now I know I wasted a year) make the decision so much hard then it is. Love it have lots of fun.
Do you like the product? is the 100 investment worth it to give it a try. Do you believe in the product and the company?
What do you have to lose?

They are good sources if those people do not already have a consultant. Most people that use mary kay already have someone they buy it from. I'm a consultant for Purse Party and I love it! Every woman loves to buy purses and jewelry, and our company has so few consultants right now I have no prob finding people to buy!

You should consider using Mary Kay. Their makeup line is very healthy to your face. The makeup is very light and clean. It really doesn't cost that much. it's worth the price.
