I'm writing a novel, crocheting some curtains, working part-time, planting an herb garden, caring for two rescue boxers, cleaning my house...oh yeah...and hanging out in Yahoo! Answers. That about fills up the day and doesn't leave much time for TV.

I workout - go for a walk or bike ride.
I love to read either a book or flip through a magazine.
I play a game - something like solitare.
I clean the house - crank up some tunes and start scrubbing.
I take a nap - a litte R&R is good once in awhile.

Depending on what day it is. If it's during the week, I help w/homework, clean, cook, wash dishes, bathe the kiddos and watch about 30min-1hr of tv.
If it's during the weekend I do all of the above plus shopping and taking the kids out to the park, Incredible pizza, etc. And if I am really lucky I'll take a nap.

Read and listen to music.
Go out and take a walk or ride a bicycle.
Find some hobbies that will keep you busy, rather than sitting around watching TV.
I spend a lot of time playing music (guitar/bass/moog synth/drums, etc) both with other people, or even by myself. I also love to go out and skateboard.
I still watch some tv, but most of it is garbage.

I quit television, in the 80's.
I only watch NY Ranger games, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Other than that:
I read
Spend time with my 14 year old daughter,
my five month old triplet sons, and my adorable husband.
