I've never done that but about 10 years ago, I was running to try to catch my dog one day behind a trailer and didn't know the power meter box was open and needless to say, I was seeing stars and had an "L" indented in my forehead for a while.

Prying a return spring off when doing the breaks on my car. After doing that for the third time, and still not getting it off, I went out and got the right wrench designed for doing it.

word! i have done that a lot. or sometimes i try and be careful, and i just end up breaking the tab off, or slicing my finger open on the edge of the lid. ya.... possibilities!
