Not unless Dirk plays some acceptable defense and scores in the clutch instead of being at the mercy of the refs. I can see them getting to the semifinals of the western conference but I don't think they'll go far...they wasted so much energy on putting up the best record in the nba and for the past week or so they've looked really tired against horrendous teams...I think they're running out of gas so I'm gonna say no they're not gonna win the championship this year.

theyre definitely playing like a team that will win the championship. last season they made the finals, were leading against the heat and then dropped 4 straight games to lose in the finals. i think the ghosts of playoffs past may work to a positive or negative effect on this team. lets not forget that the west is very strong and in a 7 game series anything can happen. we cant forget the offensive powers of the Phonix Suns, nor can we forget the defensive mind set of the San Antonio Spurs. the pressure it no doubt on the Mavs to win it all....especially with the season theyre having. but as stated, who knows what could happen. if they draw first round with the Warriors, who knows!!! this is a team that although arent performing well, have beat the Mavs twice this season....theyre beatable...but over 7 games....thats another question

yes i do--as long as they stay healthy and none of their best players, like Nowinksi, Terry, and or Howard has any injuries...they are a much better team defensively, and are deep in all positions...especially with George, Buckner Croshere to help out as defenders....i am biased..i live in fort worth, tx and am a BIG Mavericks fan ! ! !

yes, if the Heat can't get it together, yes if the Mavs learn how to play 1/2 court basketball, and yes if they don't face the Spurs at full-strength.

Nobody thinks about sports. That's my opinion. People react to sports. People calculate odds. Nobody thinks. If we thought about it we wouldn't do it. I mean what's a ruined knee really worth?
