How do i make a friend smile when things are not that good between us, yet we r still there for each other?

I may not be able to meet him, but maybe a chat on the phone or something. or maybe ill meet him for 5 minutes or something. i just want to do something sweet or say something sweet, not lie, and i want him to feel happy. Any suggestions?

if he was agood friend of yours maybe you would remind with him agood mument or fany that makes him lough and u should contact him from time to time

I agree jokes work well but it you want to say something sweet don't go for the jokes
