They sleep at all times, throughout the day and night. I don't think they have a set sleep schedule. At least not mine.

Ferrets are generally nocturnal meaning they prefer to play at night. This is easily fixed though, all you have to do is keep them awake at the time you want them to be awake, for play time or whatever. then you can let them sleep at night , do this for a couple of days and you got you self a ferret that plays in the day and sleeps at night.

My cousin have a ferret named zoe which is pronounced zoey but not spelled that way. Her Ferret does sleep.

Most are nocturnal. They hunt at night, but if it's living with you and you handle it during the day and so on, it will eventually adapt to your schedule, and since it doesn't have to hunt, it doesn't care too much.

Yes, it depends on there time schedules. They may sleep for only five or ten minutes.
