It's a lot of work, papers, statistics and research in addition to other course related projects. It's very interesting but plan on furthering your education if you want to pursue a successful career in that field. If you don't want to do the research and stats, try researching the Human Services field. Good luck!

General Psychology studies the individual behavior of humans, and looks for scientific explanations for such behaviors.
Mostly of us are wired in similar ways, although we are different according to our age, sex, profession, environment and other factors.
You may want to see first a tape and or read a book that can introduce you to the topic.
People who like to study Psychology have experienced with it during their youth or adolescence. Have ask themselves, why do people interpret the same experience in different manners. Why we have memory? Why we seek happiness, Why some people are aggressive and others loving? Interpretation of dreams and attachments etc. etc.
Good luck!

Great! I recently got my BA in psychology and it was a great experience.
You will of course take general ed. but among the classes you might take are

Psychology of prejudice
Psychology of women
Child Psychology
Research methods
Psychological testing
Abnormal Psychology
Clinical psychology

If your goal is to be a psychologist, then you will need to apply to Ph.D or Psy.D programs after you get your BA...
UC Berkeley and Stanford have good Ph.D programs. You will need to maintain a very high GPA, near 4.0 to be eligible for one of the above mentioned.

You can become an MFT (marriage, family counselor) with a master's degree in clinical psychology and take a licensing exam to be a LMFT.

Good luck.

no clue

maybe just get a Psych textbook from the library.

thats where I would start

Maybe there's a Psych for Dummies book, when I want to learn something new, I always get a dummies book first. They are clear and to the point usually.
