To be used only on plants that you want to get rid of, taking care not to spray any on surrounding plants.

* 1 gallon of distilled vinegar
* 1 cup of salt
* 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap

Spray these directly on weeds in the garden or pour directly into cracks of walks and driveways.

White vinegar works well, but will only kill the grass and not at the root. You may mix in a very small amount of dish soap to help it coat. Never use any petroleum products or salts as this is damaging to soils and water tables. I used vinegar for years as a kid along the fence line with the horses and cattle (it's fast and safe) and still use it in my yard today. Round-up type products are more permanent, but take awhile and are expensive. Good Luck.
