If you're saying you're going to pierce yourself I would advise against it just because of a risk of infection. However if you get the right tools to do it and are still bent on it, then go ahead. You'll need forceps to hold the skin, piercing needles, jewelry, as well as gloves and a way to sterilize the whole thing. You should not use hydrogen peroxide as that will react with the metals. In piercing shops they use a machine to sterilize everything. You could try placing everything in boiling water. You'll need also to ensure the environment is clean and that you clean the area with an antiseptic solution(hydrogen peroxide should be fine for the skin).

If you use a safety pin or needle and sub par jewelry, you'll do way too much damage and likely get an infection.

Keep in mind that paying someone to do it is cheap, and they're professionals as they do it for a living. Also, even if you go to them for one piercing, you'll learn a lot about HOW to pierce, this is key.

Also keep in mind that eyebrow piercings tend to reject from the body due to the soft tissue(softer than on other parts of your body), and lip piercings can recede your gums and cause your teeth to fall out at the front. If you do this and you see your gums recede you need to take the jewelry out and maybe repierce at a different angle where the jewelry does not contact your gums. Also lip piercings can be bad for teeth, so after the healing process get acrylic jewelry to help avoid this(won't chip teeth as much).

Hope this helps.

Well,my friend Kassie has a quite a few piercings [lip, eyebrow, nose, ears ect.] and she got her friends to do it. she did a couple just by taking plyers and pulling out her lip, then quickly shoving a safety pin or needle through. if you really feel pain easily then put ice on your lip first to numb it then heat up the safety pin/needle than put it through.
