Joe lives in Seattle and leaves for a birthday party in London on a private jet. The jet travels at 400 miles per hour. The party is for noon on Saturday in London and he leaves at 7:30 PM on Friday in Seattle. Once he arrives in London, he has a 40 minute tube ride to the party. The flight travels a total of 5400 miles. (each way)

1) What time does he make it in London?

2) Does he make to the party on time?

3) How early or late does he arrive at the party?

4) What time does he have to leave London if he meets Bob at the airport in Seattle for 9AM on Monday knowing he will leave from the party the same way he came?

8 hour time difference between Seattle and London.
London is ahead by 8 hours.
5400/400 is 13.5 hours plane ride each way

According to me the guy arrives at 5pm, he late for the party by 5 hours 40 min.

I don't know what time he had to leave London to get back to Seattle. PLEASE HELP???????

I think its 3:30 am or 4:30 am London time.

Ask the pilot! He is the only person who can give you the right time and duration.
