My mucus plug was greenish. it looked like snot. If you are 6 cm though, You should be in touch with your midwife/Dr. especially at 36 wks..... I am assuming they know about it though, if you know that you are 6 cm they must have told you...... Really though at 6 cm your mucus plug should be long gone.... Call the midwife/Dr....

My mucus plug was a greenish in color with some red in it. It is normal that is why they say the Mucus plug looks like snot. Good luck!

Did you recently have an internal exam? I assume you've had the test for the Strep B virus about this stage. Was it positive? In any event, call your OB/GYN's office immediately. They'll need to get you on antibiotics before the delivery, or have a game plan so that the baby doesn't contract the infection, virus, whatever, as he/she passes through the birth canal.

You should be at the hospital if your 6 cm. the greenish color is probably the baby pooping. You need to call your doctor and let them know your going to the hospital.
