Katie Couric Rude to John Edwards?

The 60 minutes intereview with John and Elizabeth edwards...wasnt Katie Couric RUDE? she is such a BI--tch!!!!

Yes, I thought the same thing too. There is nothing Katie Couric can do to convince me she's a journalist vs. a perky morning show personality. She does not have the appropriate presence in front of a camera needed for hard-hitting interviews. That had to have been the biggest mistake CBS ever made to hire her. I NEVER watch their news shows anymore.

I have never liked Katie on any program. I just don't like her for some reason.

Honestly when all this first came out about Elizabeth Edwards, the very FIRST thought out of my head was, they are going for the sympathy vote. I know that is terrible, but I did. There is no way she will be well enough to do much of anything. This is HIS dream and she is going along with him. We will see how much she is out there on the old campaign trail. That is so grueling even if you are in the best of health, let alone her condition. It will help him get votes. People will see her as the wife that stands behind her husband, blah, blah, blah..............

Election 2008 is going to go down in history as the most memorable election. It is getting people out and talking about the candidates and listening to what people have to say. And that is wonderful.

I don't know if I'd call it "rude", but, she didn't ask them 1 nice question. I'm a Republican and not partial to John Edward's candidacy, but, I do think she was unfair to them. They should have had 2 segments on the show, instead of just 1 with all tough questions crammed in. I like Elizabeth Edwards and admire her bravery. I've never liked Katie and CBS should never have put her in the anchor job. Bob Schieffer was doing a great job.
