They might have soy in their meat, among other things. It's a closely guarded recipe, I'm sure. Ha ha.
Fast food restaurants are all the same. Words like "beef", "meat", "fruit", and "fresh" are used very loosely.
I wouldn't worry about soy, or seaweed (another very common meat ingredient in the industry). It's the chemicals that I don't like. Arby's or JBox don't make me ill, but BK or McD do.

It may be possible that they are using soy as a filler in some of their products but they cannot market a roast beef sandwich as roast beef unless it is indeed roast beef. If it is not and can be proven they would be liable for millions in lawsuits let alone the destruction of the business.

I doubt it with Arby's. There may be some soy but I can't taste it. They take a big ol' roast and make it in the oven and slice it when you order. It looks like meat when I see it on the slicer.

Well this is how it goes down. Arbys is all meat, various cuts and trimings of beef. Chopped up and made into a slurry. Now there is some solid chunks if you take a slice and spread it out you can see what looks like squares, thats them. Then they take the beef slurry and the limited chunks and compress them into loafs and cook them under pressure. And what comes out is roast beef surry and chunk slices. oooooooohhhh so good.

Don't be silly. They could not and call it "roast beef." It is a myth, just like the one about KFC not using real chicken because they changed their name.
I swear, people will believe practically anything.

I wish. Do you know how hard it is to be a vegetarian and enjoy fast food? Burger King's veggie burger is delicious, but the Burger King's in my area are less than clean.

They might have some soy in their meat, but it is not pure soy. Check snopes.com

They use whatever meat can be chopped, seasoned, and formed into long logs to be shaved.
Disgusting stuff!
