i think you are in the wrong category for this topic. But it depends on where you are the more productive the land the less acres you need the less productive the land (how much and well the grass grows) the more acres are required to support cattle.

I would recommend checking with your local Department of Agriculture or Agriculture Extension Agent. Their phone numbers can be found in the government listing section of your local phone book under the state and united states government listings.

It would depend on how much rainfall the area gets. Montana needs several hundred acres, versus Minnesota.

It depends on how fertile the grazing land is. In arid locations the cattle need to graze alot farther in order to get enough to eat.
