Sorry, I have to remain anonymous.
We all have reasons for using or not using avatars.
Why would we need to know anything about a persons true identity?
An identity does not improve an answer, not take away from one.

I like the avatars. When I get me a camera and take some satisfying pictures, then I'll post them, not that it should concern you what I look like unless I wanted you to know, there are some crazy stalking people out there, but I'm sticking to what I have now which is my avatar and my Jessica Alba one on my yahoo 360 page. Maybe people have different reasons why they use them, it's not like this is a dating service or anything.
And I for one don't care to see faces of the ignorant, inappropriate, bigoted people that come on here anyway.

Because I am a girl and I prefer to keep my picture off of the internet. That and the anonymity lets me ask whatever I choose without having to answer to anyone about it.
