Well that is an open ended question. I feel when a person got the better of me is that they fooled me into believing their way of thinking and I did not stand on my on points of view. This is normally after the fact. People are persuaded to do things that they may not do, if they think about them. This is a reaction clause of being human. when they use you and you don't realize it until it's too late. and then you look back and realize how much of a fool you were for ever believing them. well, that's from my experience.
but pretty much when someone deceives you into thinking/doing something you never thought you would.
