You're not the only one. I do the same thing.

A psychological term for getting angry when you're misrepresented? Yeah, there's a term for that. It's called "Human"!
Different people have a greater or weaker sense of personal justice. It just sounds to me like your personal honor is important to you, and when someone treats you unjustly (i.e. accuses you falsely) you become naturally enflamed about it. However, when you are justly called out for lying, it doesn't bother you because that's not unjust.
You believe yourself a good and honest person and it's important to you that other people believe that too. That's quite normal. Frankly, I'm more like you than the people you've talked to.
Of course, maybe the people you've talked to just ACT angry in order to try to scare down the accuser as a way to cover up the lie.

There's nothing odd about your behavior at all. People react to things in different ways. Your reactions are common as are those of people who react in the reverse way.
For some, it will vary depending on the situation whether they get annoyed at being accused of being guilty when they aren't, or defensive when they are guilty (and unconcerned during the other times).

Yes, Its just that you have a different approach in responding to situations. When most people wouldn't mind being accused of something that is not real, you tend to become defensive. When you really did the deed, you respond with calmness making you escape the deed.
Its just your own unique style. People should deal with it and understand individual differences. Ü

Not weird at all, when someone accuses you of something you didnt do, the first reaction would be anger and then attempt to reason out. I feel the same when someone accuses me of something. I hate hate hate it. Psychological expalnation, well, you probably are a little like me, you wanted to look good and be on everybody's good books and when that is threatened, ahh, thats unbearable.

My husband is the same way. He gets so angry when he is accused of something he didnt do. I dont think its abnormal, its just that everyone reacts differently. Don't worry - you're fine.

I think that is a normal reaction..... but other person you stated happens to have a kind of defense mechanism. i dont know if it is Passive-aggression in terms of Psychology.

No there is nothing wrong with you, and I can't recall a term for it, its just a matter of keeping one's credibility and dignity, cause when it comes down to it, thats all one really has in the end

Nothing abnormal about it....you are probably mad because you KNOW that you are innocent. That's why you don't care if you are guilty.
Sounds pretty normal to me.
