Have you ever been there? New York or Canadian side?

I've been there, on both sides and think the Canadian side is much better.

I've been there 4 times, all by myself. There's alot to do and see on the Canadian side, but not much on the American side. Remember to take your passport with you just in case so you can get back to wherever you're from.
The last time I was there was at the end of June last year after I got home from my one year tour in Ramadi, Iraq. I got a tour package that included a hotel room near the Falls, a tour bus ride, and a ride on the Maid of the Mist (and you WILL get wet, since you go almost under the Falls). I was in Buffalo to visit my aunt, who I hadn't seen in awhile, and Niagara Falls is relatively close.

Been there. The Canadian side is the best for the most part you get a better view of the falls, more things to do and cleaner than the U.S side.

Yes I live one hour from there and just yesterday an illegal immigrant nearly went over the falls on an air bed trying to cross the border....its a pretty nice place...its kind of like a mini Las Vegas...with two big casinos. (Canadian Side)

i've been to both sides so many times. i think the canadian side is better since it lights up in the night.

been there 3 times, like both sides, Canadian side has a lot of other attractions but US side has some great vantage points

I"ve been to the New York side twice both at thanksgiving. Love the lights at night.

I went with my family back in '97. We were on the Canadian side, and it was great, I would really like to go back soon. And we went on the Maid of the Mist boat, that was really great.

Yes many many times on class trips and with family, simply amazing. Make sure you go on the Maid of the Mist. =)

Canadian side... it's beautiful... also an adult as well as a child's playground.
Best time to go is August!

Yep, I've seen the falls from both sides on several occasions. They look the best from Canada.
