Hello,

I'd like to upload a large file to the
internet. it would be good if I could direct other people to the file with a URL, but I don't want all internet users to be allowed to access the file.

Are there any websites like MySpace but with restricted access?

Or are there any internet-based email services that allow users to send large files (17mb)?

Thanks in anticipation.

there are other internet websites like Myspace such as WAYN, bebo and you could search stuff on google too. im not to sure on the email service, i think window live only lets you send a small amount of Mbs but im really unsure.

use a dedicated file hosting website:

megaupload
rapidshare

- that way people can only download if they have the URL to your file

DO NOT USE THEM TO HOST ILLEGAL FILES!!
