It's sure hard to accomplich, obviously, but Vlad Guerrero, Albery Pujols, Miguel Cabrera, A-Rod, or even Man-Ram or Berkman have the best chances. Pujols would be the top candidate if healthy, I'd give him about a 20% chance of doing it at some point, which is high, but he is AMAZING!
I really thought Frank Thomas was going to do it earlier in his career, but it never happened.

No, there is a reason why no one has done it since 1967 in the AL and since 1937 in the NL. Only one triple crown winner has had over 50 home runs, and that was Mantle in 1956. Today's game has far more home runs than it did twenty years ago, and that hurts the chances of even the exceptional but well rounded hitters like Manny Ramirez or Albert Pujols.

Alfonso Soriano could never win a Triple Crown. He doesn't hit for average and is usually around in the .270 zone. Albert Pujols has a chance to do it in his career. Derrek Lee of the Chicago Cubs came close in 2004 and I bet he could take a run for it again. I could also see Houstons Lance Berkman in a run for it. Hes usually in the .320 40 120 range.

Right now I could only see Pujols do it. The main thing is winning the BA. Second is the Homers 3rd is the RBi's.

He can win the BA title. The Homers he would have to compete with Howard. and lastly RBI's he would have to compete with Howard and Berkman. Thats a really really hard thing to do.

I dont think anyone on the AL side will do it anytime soon. (arod will not win batting average same with Ortiz.)

now on the other side I can see Santana winning another Cy Young Tripple Crown. (era wins and SO.)

different than Pujols, i think of the energetic participant with the suitable shot on the triple crown is Matt Kemp. he's shown ability to hit for capability and conventional, and ought to get the RBI's if he batted in a extra robust spot interior the order. Plus, he continues to be very youthful and is barely going to get better. Pablo Sandoval in all probability has an honest probability besides, yet provided that the Giants can get some decent OBP in front of him tocontinual in.

I'd have to say Pujos is the only one that has a chance...and I don't even know if he'll be able to do it. It's hard to hit for power and consistency. Most of the time players will have the HR's and RBI's but not the avg or the average but not the power stats.

I don't think anyone currently playing will win it but if someone does, it will probably be Pujos.

National League- Albert Pujols
American League-I still think Alex Rodriguez would do it if anybody could. I mean c'mon he's only 31 and should break the 500 career home run mark this year.

Albert Pujols
Even A-Rod is capable if he can get his head screwed on right.
If Robinson Cano has just a little more pop in his bat he could. Although I think Cano will win multi batting titles before his career is over.

Pujools is the only one with a real chance to win it. I thought Derek Lee was gonna come out of no where and do it a few years ago though!
