I believe they are currently working on a new Friday The 13th Film and I know for sure the Rob Zombie is making the Next Halloween Film with Michael Myers.

The only thing I heard is from months and months back of how they are willing or going to do complete remakes of the Jason Movies, but I doubt people will sit through something like that without a bit of protesting.
One shouldn't mess with the horror movies of yester years because they thier stories are done and told, in countless sequel and storylines - especially jason and Freddy movies.
No remakes/sequels/ or prequals are needed at this time. You can't mess with the classics and expect positive results.

certainly Freddy vs. Jason 2 would be out till now any of those even come into attention....initially Freddy vs. Jason 2 grew to become into to incorporate Ash from Evil lifeless yet after Bruce Campbell examine the script and observed that Ash grew to become into killed off, the movie grew to become into killed off as nicely.... i in my opinion could want to make certain Jason vs. Predator..... why not!?
