We spend outrageously on military, Wars are driving up national debt, yet retards are still in the Reagan era going on about some starving children on welfare.
Why would you rather police the world with tax dollars, than put tax money to good use for true american citizens since Iraq posed no imminent threat to the US whatsoever and you know it.
(and Bush is a liar, he said we wouldn't be doing world policing and since Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11, why the fk are we there anyway)

Trish, that has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard,
you have no clue what is going on in your own country,
what makes lazy people in scuzzy countries more deserving to our tax dollars than those who actually put the money in! the working poor who have three jobs and still can't afford healthcare,
"it's not hard" , spoken from a gal who married well and never worked a hard day in her life.

I hate the fact that we have wasted so much of our money and lives on this war in Iraq, but I love how many terrorists and terrorist safe havens have been destroyed. Al Qaeda is now a shadow of what it once was, yet I do concede that we could have accomplished as much with much less of our money and lives going into Iraq. On the other hand, the war has consumed all the extra money which might have been sent to social spending. I hate the control, dependency, and degredation of social programs, so we are in a sense starving the socialist beast (and our budget) by waging an expensive war.
Someone mentioned knowing people who have three jobs and are still poor, so let's do the math really quickly with that scenario: 3 jobs * 8 hours per day * 260 days per year (2 days off per week) * $5.75 minimum wage = about $36,000 per year. In my books, $36k is a substantial income. Working an average of 17 hour days allows 7 hours to eat, travel, and sleep, so those individuals who exercise the will, planning skills, and determination to accomplish this feat are certainly capable of making themselves really valuable, really quick. These kinds of parents take care of their children and allow none to starve, as you put it.

Yes, good this simply demonstrates that almost all men and women become being a contradiction in phrases. Can you name that a paradox? Only if the reverse is correct most likely. As as to if liberal conservatism will also be embraced by way of the ones conservatives who're extra liberal than honestly conservative, I consider, is anything that are supposed to be debated liberally in a conservatory method.

Here's an idea. We pull out of Iraq, let Iraqis deal with Iraq, put about a 10th of the money that we were spending in Iraq toward national defense (against the terrorist attacks that people say will follow a withdrawal from Iraq) - which is on top of what we already spend on national defense - and then put the rest toward fighting poverty, fixing the economy, providing better educations, and all of the problems that we have with our country before we go and fix other people's problems?

Great question. And one I would love to hear an answer to...
It seems that the coffers have no end when it comes to supplying aid to another country's civil war, but when it comes to providing healthcare to the people within the US, the conservatives cry socialism. What's that about?

We spent the money on our military so we wouldn't have to worry about another country taking us on. But here's a answer to one question....I would rather cut off ALL foreign aid and help our own people first, but the liberals will never let that happen.

And your thoughts on Darfur?
Should America sit back and allow it to continue because we don't want to spend the money cuz we have able bodied people here in the states who need their welfare check because washing dishes at my restaurant for $14 an hour(that's $29K a year) is beneath them?

Conservatives can't see straight when their flag-waving obstructs their views of reality.
They hate welfare, nation-building, and taxes but don't mind wasting a $trillion or so in tax dollars on Iraq.
Go figure!

The Liberals refuse to cut non-producing programs and to keep sending mass amounts of money overseas. That's where your money is going.
