I've learned over the years to talk less and listen more. Once it's realized how little others actually listen it just makes less sense to talk alot.
Some people probably feel that by a certain age, everything has been said.

In my experience (or, maybe just in my family), the women tend to talk more with age, and the men less.
Not sure why, though. Maybe for women, because they only have their husbands to talk to as the kids have moved out, so they talk whenever they can. And, for the men, they don't talk because they listen to their wives talk so much that they just enjoy the silence.

i was very talkative when i was young, i was actually a chatterbox. What i knew was to talk, talk and talk. Now i don't talk that much as i used to, i hav grown silent now!!! may be coz u realise that there are other things in life other than talking, that would be more useful and important.
P.S:Talking without any reason is called time pass.

I have noticed that as I age that I find myself more apathetic about life therefore I tend to communiocate thoughts and actions to others, wityh the exception of young people. They need the wisdom of us adults to survive the future.
