I am looking for a trip to France. What do you think about the "welcome" attitude of french people and the best "welcome" city in France.

I would say you should definitely check out Marseille.

I'm always very nice with tourists, giving them directions and all but the French "unwelcoming" reputation is so widespread that it's like they're afraid to ask... Really don't know where that reputation comes from... at least not from me, i'm innocent ! LOL

anyway... i'd say Paris, we're used to see tourists around so we treat them right

I have been there three times over the years. They, for some reason still hate americans even though we saved their ***. They hate us, as do most Europeans. I would suggest you change your plans to Ireland, Netherlands, Wales, Scotland, and even London is having problems with the Iranians, and gangs have formed. If you have the funds go to Australia.

I think they love everybody that are not from the US.

If you only speak English I think it'll be better if you say you're from Canada. lol
