Hi, im a 17 yr old student and as part of my out of school activities ( i need some to write on my UCAS form) i was thinking of tutoring some kids, my strongest subject is Business, but i am a very bright person (not trying to be big headed!!) so i can cover all subjects up to gcse standards, and i can teach Business and ICT to GCSE AND A level standard, anyone need a tutor?
Thanks!!

Henry the VIII? Oh, sorry, that was Tudor.
I would look into various local organizations, the Boys and Girls Club, churches that offer after school activities or even just local schools.
To specifically answer your question- many people need tutors and it can be an extremely rewarding experience for both sides.
Good luck.

sorry - no. but i think its a fab idea, you never know you might develop a knack for it and one day become a lecturer... and then stress about getting lectures done.. setting exam questions...marking.. oh dear...

have u thought of putting up a card in the newsagent/ local supermarket? i think the supermarket is free and newsagents are literally pence for a week. try that - you'll catch the parents - they'll be the ones paying so they're the ones you need to grab.

sell yourself too - you might be young but that means that u have just gone thro' the most recent curriculum and u can relate better to youngsters etc. etc etc.

good luck!
