Beware! There are lots of rip off merchants and sharks out there on the Internet. The will offer you a typing job but first you must send money. Don't do it. There are typing jobs at home but mostly these are the self employed type of work. For example, you could place an ad. in your local newspaper and see if you can drum up some trade that way. You'll need to be well organised - a fax, photo-scanner, printer combined unit etc and lots of backup for your PC in the event of a crash.

Do not rely on others. Start your own working from home typing and office services business. The initial outlay will be small. You need to get known, so it's the local rag small ads plus ads in shop windows etc.

You can also download lots of free office type tools from the Internet to help you with your business. You'll need to be able to convert things for clients and be able to do this on the phone and maybe give a client an estimate of how much a particular job will cost them. So, you'll need to work out in advance what it's going to cost you to produce the work and how much profit you want.

Good luck.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Always be suspicious when you are told you can have full time income for part time hours for a mere $29.95 registration fee. No one is going to offer a legitimate opportunity to make $500-$1000 a week with no experience and no investment. In fact, if you are told there is any sign up fee at all, 99 times out of 100 you will get nothing but some vague ideas of what you could do to make some money, but nothing of any help.

Naadia,
I worked at home as a medical transcriptionist for several years. It is ok so long as you type REALLY fast otherwise it is hard to turn a great profit. The trick to this is getting the inside contact (you have to know someone who knows someone kinda thing). I would recommend getting a certificate before starting though because there is a lot of medical jargon out there for you to learn.
Check into all the home opportunities that you will be offered and pick one that you like!
Here is mine! Let me know if you have any questions!

I work at home and have for 3 years doing medical transcription. It was not something that I just signed up for on the web. My job requires 1-year College Diploma in Medical Transcription and 1 year in-house (in hospital or doctor office) experience.

Most of the time, if you have to send them money, it is not a good idea... If it looks and smells suspicious... run the other way!
