I used to use Vodafone's excellent free download but they it is not compatible with Office 2007 and they have no plans to upgrade it. I have just had notification that BTinternet is going to discontinue its service too.

I go with x~x at the top, cbfsms.com, alas not 100% reliable you might have to try a couple of times to send your free (137 max character) SMS but it gets there in the end.

I use my network site.. i think most of em give you 300 free texts on ur online account, u jus type your text from the site..its free ! completly! no downloads.. but i live in Ireland, so might not be the same if you live some other country..

Yahoo messanger has an SMS option and its always free
only thing is your restricted to the size of message .

every month from each number you have.
You can register for free.
There are other places you can do this but this is the only one I trust.
(PS> if you have other SIM cards u r not using you can register them also & send more text messages or you can get free SIM cards if you subscribe to
