Well, is he a future legend or a single-year wonder? He was third best rusher in the league behind Tomlinson and Larry Johnson. Not to mention he had less carries then both of them. And his 5.5 yards per rush.

Frank Gore will continue to be a top rusher in the league. I don't think many people will surpass Tomlinson for awhile (unless he appears on the cover of Madden). Larry Johnson is a top rusher too, but there is talks about splitting time with two other backs which could reduce his numbers a bit. If that is true, then I can see Gore moving into the second top rusher. Don't forget though, that is only if he stays healthy. He has a string of injuries in the past.

Gore has great potential. He was at miami with backs like clinton portis and Willis Mcgahee, and scouts and coaches still said the best of the bunch was Gore. The problem is obviously injuries. He had I believe 2 major knee surgeries in college and is not the most durable of backs. If he finds a way to stay healthy he will be a productive NFL back. However given he injury history My best guess is that he is gonna go the way of fred taylor and always just tease you with his potential, and frustrate you with his injuries.

I picked Gore in fantasy and was quite proud-noticed that his ypr was over 5 and that he is a miami product. He beat out both portis & McGahee and then busted his knee. S.F. is putting the pieces together, I'm not a fan but I think they'll win the division.

I don't think he's either. I think he will have 4-5 great years before all the pounding gets to him. He's a big back and they take alot of hits. He also has had multiple knee surgeries while he was at Miami.

I think that he's and explosive and a very exciting player to watch. I think that he has the potential if he can stay healthy to be a very good runningback and have a great career.
