I'm a white Irish female, born in 1980, mkaing me 26 years old. 'm from a middle class family and grew up in the country where my my friends were all from the same background.

Growing up in Ireland in the 80's and early 90's might not have been like other parts of the world because we had very few non-Irish, non-white people. We went on foreign holidays every year, which back then were completely magic and I still have that love and desire to visit new countries and cultures as an adult.

My family, like most other Irish families are Catholic, so growing up for us meant church on Sundays, singing in the choir etc. Also, like many other Irish, we learned to Irish dance (much to my brother's horror) and play traditional music.

I'm straight and currently live with my boyfriend. And though I no longer dance, it sort of becomming cool again that I can play some instruments!

Growing up for me....
race: black
gender: female
social class: poor
sexual orientation: hetero
I'm from Maryland I'll be 26 in April and born in 1981 and currently a medical student. I could care less about anyone else's sexual preference. I've never experienced racial profiling, but I have been discriminated against because of race, but that doesn't stop me from reaching my goals, or treating everyone as an individual. I like to think that I can get along with and relate to everyone

Race: Caucasian and aside from the occasional smarmy comment someone would make because I'm French, race was never an issue for me growing up.

Gender: I'm a male and never had any issues with that growing up.

Social Class: I was always the artistic intellectual guy that flowed freely between groups. I had few friends, but even fewer enemies.

Sexual Orientation: I'm gay and waited to come out to friends in college where its more accepted.

I'm from America (Oregon to be precise) I'm 21 and was born in 1985.

I sometimes HATE being a woman. Its like people (even women) think my vagina automatically makes me stupid and uselss.

Sexism is my biggest hurdle, more than race or class (middle class hetero white - I win in America).
